My Passion for Preservation
I graduated from The University of Worcester with first class honours in Art and Design. It took me a little while to find Picture Framing, but once I did. I knew that it would be a life long passion.
As an artist, I had always been interested in themes of life, death and preservation. Finding a vocation where I can celebrate milestones in others’ lives, help them to remember special moments that have passed, and preserve memories for future generations brings me great joy.
I have now been picture framing for 6 years and have had the privilege of working on some very unique projects including a Roman tear vial, a fishing fly collection and an historic silk print of the last supper, to name but a few. Whether it be a cherished family photograph or a Banksy artwork, creating something truly bespoke with the customer is always a pleasure and an honour.
Our Services
Art Prints
Acid-free framing and mounting of art prints and posters including limited edition pieces and specialist inks/foils.
Original Artwork
Conservation mounting and framing of original artworks; oil paintings, watercolours, linocuts and pastel portraits to name a few.
Canvases
Stretching of printed and painted canvases with wrapped edges (to go straight onto the wall) or to be thoughtfully framed before hanging.
Objects
From Lego and jigsaw puzzles to police officer lapels, handcuffs and truncheon.
We offer dynamic and creative ideas and solutions to frame almost anything you can think of.
Sports Shirts
100% adhesive free, fully reversible sports shirt framing using intricate hand-stitching and stretching techniques, so that should you ever choose to, you can wear your shirt with pride once again.
Embroidery
All examples of embroidery including cross-stitch samplers, tapestries, crewel-work and beaded pieces. All with conservation materials to keep both thread and fabric looking as vibrant as ever.
